Hypothyroidism or Multiple Sclerosis? - Part 3

Post sleep study and blood test for TSH (Which showed normal thyroid status) and the visit to the Pulmonologist,I showed the reports to my ENT Surgeon who said I better undergo some conservative treatment for my snoring and sleep apnea before I dive into the unknown sea of breathing machines like CPAP/ BiPAP or surgery. Then I had gone to my family physician who asked me throw all these things out of the window and concentrate on my Hypothyroidism and Hypertension. Now Sleep Apnea can induce Hypertension and Hypothyroidism can induce Hypertension and Sleep apnea both!!! Both Hypertension and Hypothyroidism can produce dizziness and vertigo!!! Both can produce frontal hemicranial(one-sided) headaches (These were my Primary complaints). Hypothyroidism can produce dry, scaly skin, weight gain, puffiness of the face, all the features I suffer from. So my physician asked me to repeat all the blood tests and added Liver Function Tests, Serum Albumin and Serum Urea and Uric Acid. And Guess what The results showed normal blood sugar levels, Increased Uric Acid Level, Elevated SGPT and decreased Serum Albumin and a slightly elevated TSH. All these again point to Hypothyroidism.Tomorrow I am to see an Endocrinologist to get a verdict on my thyroid status. Hopefully this will bring down the curtains on all my symptoms.
And I also think I suffer from Cervical Spondylosis which can again cause neck stiffness and vertigo and tingling and numbness of the face. So I think my symptomatology is due to two seperate problems: Hypothyroidism & or Hypertension and Cervical Spondylosis. I would like to list my symptoms for the benefit of my readers:
1. Frontal, One Sided Headache that does not disappear with either painkillers or with sleep
2. Vertigo and Dizziness: not related to position of the head
3. Blurring of Vision
5. Sleep Apnea
6. Snoring: So loud that the family members are irritated
7. Dry Scaly Skin
8. Weight Gain: Almost Sudden and not proportionate to the quantity of food intake
9. Puffiness of the face
10.Tingling of the Face
11.Twitching of the muscles eply. in the thigh
12.Lethargy
13.Depression
14.Neck Stiffness; and to relieve it, if you crack the joint by giving a sudden jolt 9which I often do)it gives you a stinging pain in the forehead which goes away only after 2-3 days.
